First Time Visitor?
Join us this Sunday!
We have two services every Sunday: one from 8:30-9:45am, and the next from 10:30-11:45am.
You can find us on the corner of Franklin St. and 17th St.
What to Expect
Everything we do is centered on Jesus. We sing songs, both old and new, to celebrate Him. We confess our sins that we might be transformed by His forgiveness. We read the Scriptures and hear a sermon that we might be reminded of His grace and challenged to walk in His ways. We take the Lord’s Supper that we might never forget all that He has done for us.
After the service, stop by our Newcomer table at the left-side entrance where a friendly face will greet you, sign you up for our newsletter, and give you a free gift. And stick around for coffee and donuts!
Kids
We value safety, fun, and learning about Jesus for all of our children. We have five classrooms on Sunday mornings for children infant - 5th Grade that are available at both services. When you arrive on Sunday, please head to the right-side entrance to check your child into class.
We also have a youth group (6th-12th grade) that meets on Sunday evenings. Learn more about our ResKids and ResYouth ministries.
Dress
Our motto is come as you are. For some, that means clothes that are more casual. For others, it means clothes that are more formal. Please don’t let dress be a hindrance.
Parking & Transportation
We gather every Sunday at 1701 Franklin Street in Oakland, CA. Street parking is ample on both Franklin and 17th St, and is free until 12pm on Sundays. The garage at 1721 Webster St also offers $8 parking on Sundays. The 19th St BART Station is also only a block away for fast access.
We know how hard it can be to meet people when you’re new.
That’s why we frequently host a Newcomer Welcome immediately following each service where you can meet our pastor and other newcomers as well as hear more about our vision to be a church in and for Oakland.
